Dyke & Murphy’s story began in 1977 when Richard Murphy first opened its doors in Perth, Ontario. Born and raised in Perth, Richard launched his professional career in Montreal before moving home to start his practice. Since then, he has built a strong foundation with clients from across eastern Ontario.
Rob Dyke joined the firm as a partner in 2009 allowing Richard to transition toward retirement. The staff members who had already worked for Richard for years allowed for a smooth transition as their existing knowledge and experience was – and remains – an invaluable company asset.
Rob brought industry experience that has allowed Dyke & Murphy to further serve the business community and the corporate client list has since grown.
All the Dyke & Murphy staff members regularly attend professional development seminars and tax courses that focus on the latest tax information and CRA practices and procedures. We attend these workshops so we can better serve our clients.
