The Perth and District Chamber of Commerce is holding All Candidates Event for the Town of Perth Town Council Candidates on Thursday October 8th from 6:00pm-8:30pm at the Studio Theatre Perth.
This is a FREE event for the community to hear from the candidates for the Town of Perth (11 Councilors, 4 Mayoral and 3 Deputy Mayoral). Please register on the right hand column on this page. If you require any accommodations, please advise by contacting manager@perthchamber.com by September 18th.
The subject matter will be Perth and District Chamber of Commerce-centric and will focus on the 4 pillars members identified at our last Chamber Advocacy Roundtable in February:
1)Permitting, 2)Staffing, 3)Childcare, 4)Housing
Format: Two question-and-answer periods. The first round from 6:00pm-7:00pm will focus on Mayoral and Deputy Mayoral Candidates. The second round from 7:00pm-8:00pm will focus on Councilor candidates. From 8:00pm-8:30pm there will be a meet and greet.
Questions from the public are welcome. Please note: Attendees MUST submit their questions via email by Wednesday September 30. NO in-person questions from audience members will be taken during the event. The questions must pertain to one of the four pillars and must be submitted to either:

In exchange for your $100 + HST sponsorship, you will receive:
1) The opportunity to submit your own mini video (50 seconds maximum) or have our Media and Marketing Assistant, Kael Blackburn, film a short video clip of you introducing yourself, your business, and why sponsoring this event is important to you. There's no pressure if you prefer not to do a video. Alternatively, you could provide a statement on why sponsoring this event is important. We could then feature that quote on our socials alongside either your photo or your logo (your choice). You can coordinate with Kael Blackburn, our Social Media and Marketing Assistant to schedule a date and time for him to film at your location. He will provide suggested tips for optimal filming coverage.
2) In addition, you will receive recognition in our digital program, in our social media advertisements, and verbal recognition during the event.
As an additional benefit, we welcome your business to provide signage. Your sponsorship will give you a first-hand impact on how we fulfill our commitment to advocate for and listen to local citizens and members.
